N.W. Andrology and Cryobank was Founded in 1986. The facility provides sperm banking for personal use and anonymous sperm donor samples.

Anonymous sperm donors are typically ages 18 – 35 and are recruited form colleges and universities in Montana and Washington. Every donor candidate is screened for the existence of sexually transmitted diseases and genetic disorders and is expected to submit blood, urine and semen samples for evaluation. In addition, they must pass a comprehensive physical exam and answer a number of highly personal questions regarding their sexual partners, family and medical histories and overall lifestyle.

The men chosen to be anonymous sperm donors are expected to take the opportunity seriously and commit to being part of the donor program for at least six months. In addition, donors are asked to deposit sperm on a regular basis. Anonymous sperm donors are compensated for their donations. (Amount disclosed to current N.W. Andrology & Cryobank donors only.)

Men who opt to store sperm for personal use can come into the office to provide a specimen. Do-it-yourself kits are also available for those who feel more comfortable producing their sperm bank samples in the privacy of their own home. They can expect to pay $50 - $90 to for each specimen frozen and an additional $149/yr - $199/yr for storage.

In addition to its sperm banking services, N.W. Andrology also offers egg donation and a host of assisted reproductive technology services. For more information on sperm banking at N.W.
