Procreative CryoBank is one of the primary facilities for submitting anonymous sperm donations in the Midwest. Ideal candidates for the Anonymous Semen Donor Program are ages 19 – 40, have a body mass index of 28 or less and have attained educational training beyond high school. Donors must be a St. Louis area resident and be available to participate as a donor for at least two years. Much of that information will be confirmed during your first phone conversation. Those meeting the criteria will then be asked to complete a Donor History Packet (available online at www.ProcreativeCryobank.com via the forms link or at the Procreative CryoBank office). The questionnaire will address education level, sexual history, lifestyle, family background, and reasons for wanting to become a sperm donor.

The next step in the process is testing. You’ll then be expected to make multiple visits to the St. Louis office to provide samples for semen analysis. You will also be evaluated for overall physical fitness as well as infectious, genetic and sexual diseases. If it is determined you are a candidate for further assessment, additional sperm samples will be collected, maintained in quarantine, and tested regularly for the next six months to ensure accuracy of all previous test results. Once accepted as a Procreative CryoBank sperm donor, you will be expected to have blood drawn and tested every three months.

At Procreative Cryobank, all precautions are taken to maintain sperm donor anonymity. Donors are assigned an identification number that is used for all documents and samples. In the case that you want to allow your personal information to be released, you must provide Procreative CryoBank with written consent to that fact. Anonymous sperm donors are paid $50 when viable deposits are made and an additional $50 after the specimen have made it through quarantine without the appearance of any negative test results.

In addition to the anonymous sperm donor program, Procreative CryoBank also offers cryopreservation services for men and women wanting to store sperm and ovarian tissue for their own personal use. All samples provided by women must be collected on-site at the St. Louis, MO office but men have the option to collect samples on-site or at home.
